Sex offender Jaskarn Jhaj spent £111,000 on vile fake ceremony – after previously staging phony funeral, blowing up police van and hiring child actors for creepy fake premiere
The twisted fantasist who orchestrated a sickening fake wedding to a nine-year-old girl at Disneyland Paris can today be unmasked as a convicted British paedophile with a stomach-churning history of elaborate hoaxes.
Jaskarn “Jacky” Jhaj, 39, was arrested after splashing out £111,000 to stage the vile spectacle at Sleeping Beauty’s castle – complete with hired musicians, a towering cake and seats for hundreds of unsuspecting extras.
But MailOnline can reveal the Londoner is a dangerous sexual predator who was caged for four years in 2016 for grooming and sexually assaulting two 15-year-old schoolgirls after luring them to parties by posing as a Hollywood film producer.
French prosecutors have now charged the serial hoaxer with fraud, breach of trust, money laundering and identity theft following his latest grotesque stunt.

The princess nightmare
In scenes that would make Walt Disney turn in his grave, Jhaj allegedly paid professional makeup artists to disguise him as a 22-year-old groom for the dawn ceremony at the world-famous theme park.
Around 100 seated guests – all hired extras paid €200 each – waited as a female violin trio played, unaware they were pawns in a paedophile’s sick fantasy.
The horror unfolded when Disney staff spotted a “scared and confused” little girl arriving in what appeared to be a wedding dress, with four-inch heels literally taped to her tiny feet.
Unable to walk in the grotesque costume, the child had to be carried around the venue – a sight that finally triggered alarm bells among park workers.
A rogues’ gallery of revolting stunts
This wasn’t Jhaj’s first rodeo when it comes to twisted public spectacles. His rap sheet of bizarre hoaxes reads like a psychopath’s playbook:
The phantom funeral: Last year, the sicko shelled out £10,000 for an elaborate fake funeral at London’s prestigious Oratory in Knightsbridge. Complete with horse-drawn carriage, luxury cars and a full choir, the hoax only unravelled when Father Rupert McHardy realised the mourners were hired extras and the coffin was empty.
The children’s premiere: In 2023, he recruited 90 children as young as six to dress in school uniforms for a fake red carpet event in Leicester Square. The youngsters were instructed to pretend to faint as Jhaj strutted about in a red tuxedo, playing the movie star.
The exploding vans: Perhaps most disturbing, Jhaj filmed himself naked in east London blowing up a fake police van, sending its roof 50 feet into the air. The stunt also involved torching a BBC-branded vehicle, terrifying local residents.
‘Dangerous sexual predator’ and proud of it
In a chilling two-hour online film from 2020, Jhaj appears to revel in his notoriety. The title? Dangerous Sexual Predator” – seemingly a nod to how police described him at his 2016 conviction.
The footage shows a bare-chested Jhaj cruising around in a 4×4, picking up a revolving door of young passengers. In one sickening scene, he describes a female passenger as looking “like a young Keira Knightley” while another schoolgirl protests she can’t leave his vehicle because “the teachers will see.
When asked about his job, he smirks and replies: “Do a few things, bruv, don’t worry about it.”

The Disney deception unravels
For his latest atrocity, Jhaj had recruited 200 adults and 100 children aged five to 15 through online ads for what was billed as a “chic and elegant rehearsal wedding.
But while extras were told it was a rehearsal, park organisers had been informed it would be a genuine ceremony.
The child’s 41-year-old Ukrainian mother – now also under arrest – allegedly claimed she wanted her daughter to feel like a Disney “princess” for the day. She reportedly described Jhaj as a “friend.”
A 55-year-old Latvian man claims he was paid €12,000 to play the bride’s father but only discovered at the last minute that she was nine years old.
Justice closing in
French prosecutor Jean-Baptiste Bladier confirmed Jhaj is also being investigated for “corruption of a minor” after disguising himself to “play the role of the groom, having made up his face professionally.”
The source of funding for these expensive productions remains a mystery – one that investigators are now desperately trying to solve.
Jhaj was previously fined £1,500 at Isleworth Crown Court last July for breaching notification requirements and a sexual harm prevention order. He’d been arrested after his fake premiere stunt on suspicion of breaching the order but was released on bail.
Now, as he sits in a French cell awaiting justice, questions are mounting about how this “dangerous sexual predator” was allowed to continue his campaign of twisted public stunts for so long.
For the traumatised nine-year-old girl at the centre of his latest horror show, there was no fairytale ending – just another victim of a monster who turned the Magic Kingdom into a house of horrors.
