A Florida beauty pageant winner has accused Republican Congressman Cory Mills of threatening to release intimate videos and harm her future partners after their three-year relationship ended when she discovered he had another girlfriend.
Lindsey Langston, 25, the reigning Miss United States 2024 and a Florida Republican state committee member, filed allegations with the Columbia County Sheriff’s Department on 14 July claiming Mills, 45, has repeatedly threatened to release nude images and sexual videos since their February breakup.
The sheriff’s report, obtained by the Daily Mail, states: “Since February 20th of 2025, Cory has contacted Lindsey numerous times on numerous different accounts threatening to release nude images and videos of her, to include recorded videos of her and Cory engaging in sexual acts.”
Langston told authorities she was in a romantic relationship with Mills from November 2021 to February 2025, living at his New Smyrna Beach home after he claimed he was divorcing his wife, Rana Al Saadi.
The beauty queen said she ended the relationship after seeing media reports that Mills had been involved in a domestic incident with another woman identified as his “girlfriend” in Washington DC.
Steven Khachigan, a spokesman for the Columbia County Sheriff’s Department, confirmed the claims were shared with the Florida Department of Law Enforcement for further review.
According to the report, Langston also provided investigators with text messages and Instagram communications showing Mills allegedly threatening to harm any men she dated in the future.
One text message obtained by Drop Site News allegedly reads: “You want to date or be with someone else. Be my guest. But they need to know well in advance that if we cross paths, I don’t care this week, this month, or this decade. They better damn well know it’s coming every time.”
Another message from Mills reportedly stated: “May want to tell every guy you date that if we run into each other at any point. Strap up cowboy.”
The congressman’s last message to Langston, sent on 12 June 2025, read: “I hope you hold your crown until the end,” according to the sheriff’s report.
Mills strongly denied the allegations in a statement to the Daily Mail, saying: “These claims are false and misrepresent the nature of my interactions. I have always conducted myself with integrity, both personally and in service to Florida’s 7th District.”
“Out of respect for the legal process, I won’t comment further at this time. My team and I will fully cooperate to ensure the truth is made clear. I remain focused on serving my constituents and advancing America First policies,” he added.
A spokesperson for the congressman blamed the allegations on a “political attack” designed to “score political headlines,” noting that Langston’s attorney, Anthony Sabatini, had run against Mills in the 2022 GOP congressional primary.
Langston told Drop Site News that Mills’ threats “intensified over time,” adding: “From emotional manipulation, to physical violence against whoever I date in the future, to threats of having me stripped of the Miss United States crown… something I worked extremely hard for and a dream that was placed in my heart long before I even knew who Cory Mills was.”
The allegations emerged after Mills was investigated in February for a domestic assault incident at his Washington DC residence involving Sarah Raviani, co-founder of Iranians for Trump.
According to police reports, Raviani initially told officers that Mills, described as “her significant other for over a year,” had “grabbed her, shoved her, and pushed her out of the door” of his apartment, with officers observing “bruises on her arm which appeared fresh.
However, Raviani later changed her story, and no arrest was made. She told the Daily Mail: “Regarding the police call, I’ve confirmed multiple times and I’ll confirm again, no assault took place.
The February incident occurred at Mills’ penthouse apartment in DC, where the property manager claims the congressman owes over $85,000 (£65,700) in unpaid rent, according to court filings first reported by journalist Roger Sollenberger.
Documents from DC’s superior court show Mills has failed to pay his $20,000 (£15,500) per month rent on time, missing certain payments altogether. A ledger shows Mills has been late on rent 18 times and owes $85,000 for “total rent due” from March 2025 to July 2025.
Mills told Sollenberger the payment issues were due to a broken online payment portal for the building.
Langston, who was elected Columbia County Republican Committeewoman last August and crowned Miss United States in October, said she confronted Mills about Raviani after seeing the news reports.
Lindsey confronted Cory about the woman, to which Cory told her he was not in a romantic relationship with her and the press fabricated the story,” the police report states. Lindsey then found a social media account for the other woman and saw posted photos of her with Cory.
The beauty queen told Blaze Media that Mills frequently received visitors who brought “bags full of money,” which raised concerns during their relationship.
According to the sheriff’s report, Mills and Langston “partook in exchanging sexual images and videos with each other” whilst he was frequently absent from their Florida home due to his work in Washington.
The threats were made when Cory believed Lindsey to have other romantic partners in her life after the break up,” the report added.
Mills, now in his second congressional term representing Florida’s 7th District, has styled himself as a MAGA Republican and vocal ally of President Donald Trump.
The 45-year-old Army veteran served in Iraq and received the Bronze Star Medal, though a 2025 investigative report raised questions about the circumstances of the award.
Langston has filed for a restraining order against Mills, with her attorney confirming the legal action is underway.
My biggest fear is that this investigation will mirror the Washington DC investigation of the February altercation,” Langston told Drop Site News. “I do not question local and state law enforcement’s ability to handle this investigation, but I am concerned that because he is an elected official and public figure this will be put off – putting me at risk.”
The congressman has not been charged with any crime at the time of publication.
