Katie Price has launched a scathing attack on her daughter Princess Andre’s red carpet appearance at last week’s National Television Awards, telling the 18-year-old to “sack the stylist” in comments that have reignited their ongoing public feud.

The former glamour model, 47, delivered a brutal assessment of both Princess and son Junior’s outfits during the latest episode of The Katie Price Show podcast, describing Junior’s velvet jacket as “fancy dress” whilst claiming Princess’s silver gown made her look too old for her age.

Princess, who attended the star-studded ceremony at London’s O2 Arena on 10 September without either parent for the first time, wore an eye-catching silver and grey evening gown featuring red sequin embellishments and a daring thigh-high split. Junior, 20, opted for a striking red velvet jacket paired with black tuxedo trousers featuring a nostalgic stripe design.

I did say to them though, ‘You’ve got to sack the stylist.’ I felt sorry for Junior,” Price revealed on her podcast, speaking alongside her sister Sophie. The reality star showed particular angst towards her son’s outfit choice, adding: “I said to Princess, ‘What was he f***ing wearing?’ It looked like fancy dress.”

But the mother-of-five’s criticism didn’t stop with Junior’s ensemble. Price continued: “I said, ‘Princess I didn’t like your dress either, it was too old for you. Look at Maura Higgins, she looked amazing!'”

According to Price, Princess reportedly responded by asking her mother to style her for future events. “She said, ‘Well can you dress me next time?’ I said, ‘I don’t know who is getting you involved in these stylists. They might style you for a photoshoot but not a red carpet… the outfits were just so wrong!'”

The harsh fashion critique comes amid escalating tensions between Price and her ex-husband Peter Andre, 52, following the premiere of Princess’s ITV2 reality series The Princess Diaries in August. Price was notably absent from both the show and her daughter’s 18th birthday celebrations earlier this year, claiming she had been “banned” from participating.

A source close to the family told The Sun that Price was particularly incensed after seeing photographs of Princess with Paris Fury and her daughter Venezuela, 15, at the Hair and Beauty Awards earlier this month. “She was saying ‘Why the f**k is it ok for her to be out with Princess and not me?’ to whoever would listen,” the insider revealed.

The source added: “Princess knows Katie is seen as ‘bad for her brand’ but she wishes that wasn’t the case, especially when she sees Paris and Venezuela hanging out together like best friends.”

Princess has attempted to maintain neutrality throughout her parents’ bitter disputes. Last month, she broke her silence on the feud during a Snapchat Q&A, telling fans: “To be honest it doesn’t affect me. At the end of the day, they broke up when I was two years old so I don’t even have any memory of them being together.”

The teenager, who has stepped into the limelight with her own reality series documenting her newfound freedom, added: “I love my mum and dad and that’s all that matters.”

The latest public spat follows Peter Andre’s explosive statement in August, where he revealed that both Princess and Junior had been under his primary care from 2018 until reaching adulthood. The Mysterious Girl singer accused Price of “peddling baseless lies” after she claimed their children lived equally between both parents.

“For sixteen years, I have stayed silent in the face of repeated lies from my ex-wife and her family, out of respect for my children and loved ones, but staying silent has been incredibly frustrating. That ends today,” Andre wrote on Instagram.

He disclosed that family courts had issued a legally binding order in 2019 to enforce the custody arrangement, adding: “In 2011 and 2015, publicly documented court cases found my ex-wife had made false claims. She was ordered to pay substantial damages and legal costs, and to apologise to me and my management.”

Price’s representatives responded that she is handling the situation through proper legal channels, with a spokesperson stating: “Kate is in a much better and clear headspace and is at peace with the situation. This was in the past and she doesn’t feel the need to bring up tit for tat comments.”

Industry insiders suggest the fashion criticism represents a new low in the former couple’s relationship, with one television source commenting: “Katie’s comments about the styling seem particularly petty given she wasn’t even there to support her children at such an important industry event.”

The siblings’ decision to attend the NTAs independently was significant, with Junior telling reporters on the night: “We are quite family oriented, but it’s our time.”

Fashion critics have defended the youngsters’ red carpet choices, with one stylist noting that Princess’s gown was “age-appropriate glamour” whilst Junior’s velvet jacket reflected “current menswear trends seen across luxury fashion houses.”

The ongoing conflict has raised concerns about the impact on Princess, who revealed in her reality series that she “saw things kids shouldn’t see” whilst growing up. Despite this, she has consistently expressed love for both parents and appears determined to forge her own path in the entertainment industry.

Price has defended her relationship with both children, insisting she visits them regularly despite not documenting these moments on social media. However, her absence from major milestones, including Princess’s recent birthday party, has fuelled speculation about the true nature of their relationship.

The fashion intervention marks another chapter in what has become one of British showbusiness’s most enduring feuds, with no resolution in sight as both parties continue to air their grievances publicly.
