Speaking candidly on Lorraine Kelly and daughter Rosie’s What If? podcast in 2022, Hammond revealed the shocking extent of the abuse she receives: “Oh my gosh, like every day. Literally, I’m sure there’s a tweet or a message.”
She recalled one particularly cruel message: “I think I saw a message yesterday from someone, something along the lines of, ‘[You] need to lose 40 stone,’ I’m thinking, ‘I’m not even 40 stone!'”
