Strike on Khan Younis hospital was designed to take out Gaza’s most wanted terrorist hiding in tunnels below

Israel has dealt a devastating blow to Hamas after confirming the death of Mohammad Sinwar – the terror group’s elusive Gaza chief and younger brother of October 7 mastermind Yahya Sinwar.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced last night that the most wanted terrorist in Gaza had been “eliminated” in a massive Israeli airstrike on a hospital complex where he was believed to be hiding in underground tunnels.

The attack on the European hospital in Khan Younis last week killed 28 Palestinians and wounded more than 50 others, but Israeli intelligence sources say it was specifically designed to target Sinwar and his terror network operating beneath the medical facility.

BROTHER OF OCTOBER 7 BUTCHER

Mohammad Sinwar, believed to be in his late 40s, had stepped into his dead brother’s blood-soaked shoes after Yahya Sinwar was gunned down by Israeli troops in October 2024 during a fierce firefight in Gaza.

We eliminated the leaders of the murderers Deif, Haniyeh, Yahya Sinwar and it appears we also eliminated Mohammed Sinwar,” Netanyahu declared during a televised press conference that sent shockwaves across the Middle East.

The younger Sinwar brother had been operating from the shadows for months, orchestrating rocket attacks and terror operations while constantly moving between Hamas’s vast network of underground tunnels to avoid Israeli forces.

His death represents the latest in a series of major victories for Israel, which has systematically hunted down Hamas’s top leadership since the barbaric October 7 attacks that claimed 1,200 innocent lives.

HIDING LIKE A RAT IN TUNNELS

Intelligence sources revealed that Mohammad Sinwar had been using Gaza’s hospital network to shield himself from Israeli strikes, cynically exploiting medical facilities and putting innocent Palestinian civilians at risk.

According to reports, Sinwar’s body was found in a tunnel complex beneath the hospital after Israeli forces conducted a precise operation based on months of intelligence gathering.

He was hiding like a rat in those tunnels, using hospitals and civilians as human shields,” said one Israeli military source who cannot be named for security reasons. “But there’s nowhere left for these terrorists to run.”

The European hospital had been on Israel’s radar for weeks after intelligence suggested it was being used as a Hamas command center, with the terror group’s leadership moving through underground passages that connected to the medical facility.

REIGN OF TERROR ENDS

Mohammad Sinwar’s death marks the end of a terror dynasty that has brought nothing but death and destruction to both Israelis and Palestinians for decades.

Unlike his more famous brother Yahya – who planned and executed the October 7 massacre – Mohammad operated more in the shadows, focusing on military operations and the day-to-day running of Hamas’s brutal regime in Gaza.

But Israeli intelligence had marked him as one of the most dangerous terrorists still alive, with his elimination representing a major victory in the ongoing war against Hamas.

Netanyahu’s confirmation came after Defense Minister Israel Katz earlier indicated that “according to all the indications Muhammad Sinwar was eliminated,” though official confirmation had been delayed pending DNA testing.

HOSPITAL BECOMES BATTLEGROUND

The strike on the European hospital has once again highlighted Hamas’s sickening tactic of using medical facilities and civilian areas to shield their terror operations.

Video footage from the scene showed the devastation caused by the precision strike, with rescue workers pulling bodies from the rubble while families of the dead wept in the hospital corridors.

But Israeli officials maintain they had no choice but to act after confirming that one of the world’s most wanted terrorists was using the hospital as a base for planning further attacks against innocent civilians.

“Hamas turns every hospital, every school, every civilian building into a military target by hiding their terrorists there,” said Israeli military spokesman Daniel Hagari. “We will hunt them down wherever they hide.”

NO MERCY FOR TERRORISTS

Netanyahu’s announcement came during a press conference where he vowed that “all of Gaza will be under Israeli control” until every last Hamas terrorist is eliminated or surrenders.

The Israeli Prime Minister showed no mercy for the terror group that has brought such misery to the region, promising that the hunt for remaining Hamas leaders will continue until the job is finished.

We will not stop until every terrorist who participated in the October 7 massacre pays the ultimate price,” Netanyahu declared to thunderous applause from his supporters.

Mohammad Sinwar’s death comes just months after his brother met his end in a dramatic gunfight with Israeli paratroopers, showing that no terrorist – no matter how well-hidden – is safe from Israeli justice.

GAZA UNDER SIEGE

With both Sinwar brothers now dead, Hamas’s leadership structure in Gaza has been decimated, leaving the terror group desperately trying to reorganize while under constant bombardment from Israeli forces.

The systematic elimination of Hamas’s top commanders represents one of the most successful counterterrorism operations in modern history, with Israel methodically hunting down every terrorist involved in the October 7 atrocities.

For the families of the 1,200 innocent Israelis butchered on that horrific day, news of Mohammad Sinwar’s death provides another small measure of justice – though nothing can bring back their loved ones.

As the war in Gaza continues, one thing is clear: Israel will not rest until every Hamas terrorist responsible for the October 7 massacre has been brought to justice, no matter where they try to hide.
