Tesla CEO jokes he ‘wasn’t anywhere near France’ in bizarre reference to Macron wife slap video

Elon Musk appeared sporting a mysterious BLACK EYE at his farewell press conference with Donald Trump today – just hours after an explosive report alleged he was using a cocktail of drugs so intensely it damaged his bladder.

The world’s richest man showed up at the Oval Office with a visible bruise over his right eye, wearing all black including a cap emblazoned with ‘DOGE’ and a shirt reading ‘The Dogefather’.

When finally asked about the shiner by reporters, Musk, 53, claimed his five-year-old son X Æ A-12 was responsible, saying they were “horsing around and I told him to punch me in the face”.

The bizarre appearance came as a bombshell New York Times report alleged the Tesla CEO’s drug use during the 2024 campaign was “far more serious” than previously known – including DAILY ketamine consumption that reportedly caused bladder problems.

‘IT DAMAGED HIS BLADDER’

According to the explosive report, Musk told people close to him that his ketamine use had become so frequent that it was damaging his bladder – a known side effect among heavy users of the powerful anesthetic.

The Times reports that sources say his use of the anesthetic was frequent — almost daily —and regularly in combination with other drugs while in the throes of campaign season.

The billionaire also allegedly used ecstasy and hallucinogenic mushrooms, and was reportedly known to travel with a pill box that contained Adderall, the ADHD treatment drug.

According to a photo of the box and people who have seen it, Musk traveled with a daily medication box that held about 20 pills, including ones with the markings of the stimulant Adderall.

BLACK EYE MYSTERY

The tech mogul’s bruised face immediately sparked speculation on social media, with one user asking: “Why is Elon Musk’s right eye, black and blue??????

When a reporter finally asked “Is your eye ok?”, Musk joked: “I wasn’t anywhere near France” — a reference to French President Emmanuel Macron’s viral slapping incident with his wife, Brigitte, on May 25.

After hesitating, Musk said that he got the bruise while roughhousing with his 5-year-old son, X Æ A-12, whom he calls “Little X.” “I was walking around with Little X and I said punch me in the face, and he did.

It turns out a five year old can punch, actually. I didn’t really feel much at the time,” he added.

DRUG USE BOMBSHELL

The Times investigation, based on private messages and interviews with more than a dozen people close to Musk, paints a picture of escalating substance abuse as he rose to become Trump’s most influential adviser.

A September 2022 study by the National Institute of Health notes that “significant side effects on the urinary tract are associated with frequent recreational ketamine use.

Elon has pushed the boundaries of his bad behavior more and more,” Philip Low, a neuroscientist and former friend of Musk, told The Times.

The allegations surface as Musk’s 130-day mandate as a special government employee in the Trump administration was set to expire around May 30.

WARNED BEFORE DRUG TESTS

In another shocking revelation, The Times also reports Musk received advance warning of employee drug tests at SpaceX, despite the company’s obligations as a federal contractor to maintain a drug-free workplace.

While Musk has previously admitted using ketamine as a prescribed treatment, telling Don Lemon he takes it “about every two weeks” for depression, the new report suggests usage far beyond therapeutic levels.

FAREWELL TO DOGE

The black eye drama overshadowed what was meant to be Musk’s triumphant farewell after leading the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) in slashing federal spending.

“As my scheduled time as a Special Government Employee comes to an end, I would like to thank President @realDonaldTrump for the opportunity to reduce wasteful spending,” Musk posted to X.

But tensions were evident as Musk expressed his displeasure with his time in the political sector, noting that he felt all his work with DOGE could soon be undercut by Trump’s sweeping budget legislation — titled the “Big, Beautiful Bill.

“I was disappointed to see the massive spending bill, frankly, which increases the budget deficit, not just decreases it, and undermines the work that the DOGE team is doing,” he said.

ERRATIC BEHAVIOR

Whether or not Musk was using drugs while leading DOGE, his public displays of erratic behavior continued after he became a top White House adviser in January.

At the Conservative Political Action Conference in February, Musk wielded a chainsaw on stage, engraved with the slogan “Viva la libertad, carajo,” which is Spanish for “Long live liberty, damn it.

As Musk returns to his multi-billion dollar business empire, questions swirl about whether the alleged drug use continued during his controversial stint in government – and what it means for the companies under his control.

When confronted about the explosive Times report during the press conference, Musk slammed the newspaper, saying people “can’t trust” the publication and that he was “moving on” from the controversy.

But with a mysterious black eye and bombshell drug allegations following him out the White House door, the world’s richest man may find moving on easier said than done.
