State TV anchor warns Trump he’s chosen to ‘spill blood’ after Republican Guard HQ attack kills HUNDREDS including top commanders
Iran has issued a bone-chilling threat to send up to 50,000 American soldiers home in “coffins” as the Islamic Republic reels from devastating Israeli airstrikes that wiped out hundreds of its elite troops.
State television anchor Mehdi Khanalizadeh delivered the menacing warning after Donald Trump raised the possibility of regime change in Tehran following US strikes on Iranian nuclear facilities.
The threats come as Israeli bombs obliterated Iran’s Republican Guard headquarters, killing the organisation’s commander-in-chief and scores of top military brass in what’s being called the deadliest strike in the force’s history.
‘COFFINS IN WASHINGTON’
In an extraordinary on-air tirade, Khanalizadeh accused Trump of choosing to “spill the blood of your soldiers” before issuing his terrifying ultimatum.
The US president in the Oval Office chose to take delivery of the coffins of up to 50,000 US soldiers in Washington,” the regime mouthpiece declared, according to the Daily Mail and Croatian media outlet Net.hr.
The brutal threats emerged as Iran warned the United States should expect “heavy consequences” for striking its nuclear sites, threatening that America’s entry into the conflict would “expand the scope of legitimate targets.
REVOLUTIONARY GUARD MASSACRE
The threats follow catastrophic Israeli airstrikes that decimated Iran’s military leadership in a single devastating blow.
According to Fox News and multiple sources, Commander-in-Chief of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) Hossein Salami was killed during Thursday night’s precision strikes on Iran.
The Israeli Defence Forces revealed that an underground command centre strike wiped out most of the IRGC Aerospace Force’s leadership after they’d convened for a meeting.
MILITARY BRASS ELIMINATED
The death toll among Iran’s top military echelon is staggering, with the IDF reporting at least six senior commanders killed:
- Major General Hossein Salami – IRGC Commander-in-Chief
- Mohammad Bagheri – Deputy Chief of Staff of Armed Forces
- Amir Ali Hajizadeh – IRGC Air Force Commander
- Davoud Shaykhian – IRGC Air Defence Unit Commander
- Taher Pour – IRGC Drone Unit Commander
- Ali Rashid – Senior Military Commander
Netanyahu’s office also confirmed the deaths of IRGC intelligence chief Mohammad Kazemi and his deputy Hassan Mohaqeq.
NUCLEAR SCIENTISTS TARGETED
In a coordinated assassination campaign, Israel eliminated at least 10 of Iran’s leading nuclear scientists working on the regime’s atomic weapons programme, according to Israeli officials cited by Fox News.
Netanyahu boasted: “We targeted Iran’s leading nuclear scientists working on the Iranian bomb. We also struck at the heart of the Iran ballistic missile program.
The strikes have left Iran’s nuclear programme in tatters, with IAEA chief Rafael Grossi telling the BBC that all 15,000 centrifuges at the Natanz enrichment facility were likely destroyed.
TRUMP’S ‘OBLITERATION’ BOAST
The Iranian threats came after Trump declared “monumental damage” had been inflicted on Iran’s nuclear sites, using the term “obliteration” to describe the destruction.
US forces dropped massive GBU-57 “bunker buster” bombs on the deeply buried Fordow facility for the first time in combat history, whilst Navy submarines fired dozens of Tomahawk cruise missiles at Isfahan.
“Iran’s key nuclear enrichment facilities have been completely and totally obliterated,” Trump declared in a televised address on Saturday night.
TEHRAN IN PANIC
The capital Tehran has descended into chaos as residents flee the city amid Israeli bombardment, with miles-long queues at petrol stations and roads clogged with bumper-to-bumper traffic.
Iranian state TV broadcast scenes of collapsed presidential buildings, burned-out cars and shattered streets as the death toll climbed past 430, according to Iranian health officials.
“I am desperate. My two children are scared and cannot sleep at night because of the sound of air defence and attacks, explosions,” Gholamreza Mohammadi, 48, told Reuters by phone from Tehran.
REGIME CHANGE TALK
Trump has consistently hinted at regime change, demanding Iran’s “UNCONDITIONAL SURRENDER” on social media whilst warning Supreme Leader Khamenei that he was an “easy target.
On Sunday night, the president doubled down, posting on social media that satellite images showed “monumental damage” to all nuclear sites, adding: “Obliteration is an accurate term!
The strikes have sparked fury in Washington, with Democrats accusing Trump of dragging America into another Middle East war without Congressional approval.
ISRAEL’S RELENTLESS CAMPAIGN
The conflict, now in its tenth day, began when Israel launched surprise strikes on June 13, claiming Iran was on the verge of developing nuclear weapons.
Since then, both nations have exchanged increasingly deadly volleys of missiles and airstrikes, with at least 24 Israelis killed and over 3,500 Iranians wounded.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu vowed the attacks would continue “for as many days as it takes to remove this threat,” praising Trump’s “bold decision” to join the campaign.
HOUTHIS JOIN THE FRAY
Yemen’s Iran-backed Houthi rebels have declared the American strikes a “declaration of war,” ending a ceasefire with the US and launching ballistic missiles at Israel.
The group slammed the attacks as a “flagrant violation of all international laws” and vowed to continue their “path of resistance” against both America and Israel.
NUCLEAR TALKS COLLAPSE
Iran has officially withdrawn from nuclear negotiations with the US, with senior lawmaker Aladdin Boroujerdi announcing on state TV that the sixth round of talks was dead.
Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi warned: “If President Trump is genuine about diplomacy… Israel must halt its aggression. It takes one phone call from Washington to muzzle someone like Netanyahu.”
GLOBAL ALARM
The UN Security Council held an emergency session as Secretary-General António Guterres warned the attacks marked “a perilous turn in a region that is already reeling.
European allies urged restraint, with Britain’s David Lammy stating: “Iran must never have a nuclear weapon. The US has now taken action to alleviate that threat.”
As Iranian television broadcasts its chilling threats and the death toll mounts on both sides, fears are growing that Trump’s strikes could trigger the very Middle East conflagration he’d promised to avoid.
