Reality star shares sweet snaps of boxer with daughter Bambi as she jokes about being ‘third wheel’ in their family dynamic
Molly-Mae Hague has poured her heart out in a touching Father’s Day tribute to Tommy Fury, declaring the boxer was “made to be a dad” following the couple’s romantic reunion earlier this year.
The Love Island alum, 26, who recently confirmed she and the boxer, also 26, had rekindled their romance after a dramatic split, took to Instagram Stories on Sunday evening to share the heartfelt message – having been too busy with work commitments to post earlier in the day.
The mum-of-one, who had spent the day launching her latest Maebe fashion collection, uploaded a snap showing a special Father’s Day cake emblazoned with the phrase “Love you daddy.”
The sweet treat sat perched on a table filled with touching mementos, including images of Tommy with their two-year-old daughter Bambi, as well as a piece of artwork created by the tot herself.
Black and White Bliss
In a particularly emotional moment, the influencer shared a black and white snapshot showing daddy and daughter cuddling in bed, with Molly-Mae posting a sweet message alongside it which read: “You are the most patient, calm, kind and loving daddy ever.
The reality star then joked she was the “third wheel” in their family dynamic, highlighting the special bond between Tommy and Bambi.
Rocky Road to Reunion
The touching tribute comes after a tumultuous year for the couple, who shocked fans when they announced their split in August 2024 after five years together.
The pair, who met on Love Island in 2019 and finished as runners-up, share daughter Bambi, who was born in January 2023. Tommy had proposed to Molly-Mae in July 2023 during a romantic holiday in Ibiza.
Their sudden split sparked widespread speculation about the reasons behind their break-up, with cheating rumours swirling online – allegations Tommy vehemently denied.
The Real Reason
In January 2025, Tommy bravely opened up about the true cause of their separation, revealing he had struggled with alcohol addiction following a boxing injury.
We broke up because I had a problem with alcohol and I couldn’t be the partner that I wanted to be anymore,” he admitted in an interview with Men’s Health UK. It kills me to say it, but I couldn’t.
The boxer explained that being unable to train due to his injury had sent him down a “dark route” that ultimately cost him his relationship.
New Year, New Start
Reconciliation rumours began when the pair were spotted kissing at a New Year’s Eve party, though Molly-Mae initially denied their split had been a “publicity stunt.
The couple then jetted off to Dubai in March 2025 with Bambi, which Molly-Mae later described as “probably the best holiday ever for all of us.”
Making It Official
In May 2025, Molly-Mae finally confirmed their reunion in her Amazon Prime documentary “Molly-Mae: Behind It All,” revealing they had been working on their relationship for months.
“The version of who he is right now is one of the best I’ve seen,” she gushed in the series. “I know just how amazing we can be.”
During a touching FaceTime call shown in the documentary, Tommy told Molly-Mae: “I want to see that face for eternity,” while she responded with “Love you” – prompting him to emphatically reply “I love you.”
Tommy’s Transformation
Following his return to the boxing ring in May 2025, Tommy spoke emotionally about turning his life around.
“I’ve been through things that tear a man down. Drunk. Alcoholic. Everything. Lost my family for a bit. But everything’s come back together. I’m a man that’s turned it around,” he declared after his victory.
On Good Morning Britain, he had earlier declared: “2024 was the worst year of my life, and this year is going to be the best year of my life.
Future Plans
While the couple are taking things slowly, Molly-Mae has been open about her hopes for the future.
The dream is still the same that we’ll get to a place one day when we will all be happy in that house together and have more children, hopefully, and just have a really nice, happy life together,” she revealed.
Her sister Zoe has given the relationship her blessing, noting: “I can see the parts of her that were lost last year coming back. I think she’s finding that happy place in a life where she’s got that fire in her belly again.”
Devoted Dad
Tommy has been vocal about his devotion to daughter Bambi throughout their separation and reunion.
I speak to Bambi all the time. She’s everything to me, I love her so much,” he said in a recent interview, adding that his “only goal in life now” is for Bambi to grow up telling people she had the “best dad.”
“That’ll mean more to me than any belts in the ring, any fights that I win, any amount of money that you can collect,” the boxer emotionally stated.
As the family celebrates their first Father’s Day properly reunited, it seems the Fury-Hague household is filled with more love than ever – even if Molly-Mae has to play third wheel to Tommy and Bambi’s adorable bond.
