Ambassador claims London provided ‘geospaced data’ for audacious operation that wiped out $7 BILLION worth of Russian bombers
Russia’s ambassador to the UK has sensationally blamed Britain for helping Ukraine carry out its most devastating drone attack of the war – an audacious operation that destroyed more than 40 Russian warplanes deep inside Moscow’s territory.
Andrei Kelin warned that Ukraine’s actions “are bringing the conflict to a different level of escalation” and directly accused London of providing crucial technical assistance for the weekend strikes that Russian military bloggers are calling their country’s “Pearl Harbor.”
The explosive accusations come after Ukraine’s Security Service pulled off “Operation Spider’s Web” – a meticulously planned attack that took 18 months to prepare and saw drones smuggled thousands of miles into Russia before destroying $7 billion worth of strategic bombers.
In an extraordinary interview with Sky News, Ambassador Kelin claimed the sophisticated attack could only have been carried out with Western help – and pointed the finger squarely at Britain.
‘LONDON KNOWS WHAT IT’S DOING’
The Russian diplomat didn’t mince words when asked about UK involvement:
“[This] kind of attack involves, of course, provision of very high technology, so-called geospaced data, which only can be done by those who have it in possession. And this is London and Washington,” Kelin declared.
“I don’t believe that America [is involved], that has been denied by President Trump, definitely, but it has NOT been denied by London.
He added ominously: “We perfectly know how much London is involved, how deeply British forces are involved in working together with Ukraine.
The ambassador warned that Kyiv should “not try to engulf World War III,” calling it “the very worst case scenario that we can imagine.
UKRAINE’S ‘PEARL HARBOR’ MOMENT
The weekend attack saw Ukrainian forces pull off what military experts are calling one of the most audacious operations of the entire conflict:
- 117 drones deployed across Russia
- 40+ aircraft destroyed, including irreplaceable Tu-95 and Tu-22M3 strategic bombers
- $7 billion in damages (34% of Russia’s strategic cruise missile carriers)
- Targets hit up to 4,300km from Ukraine’s frontlines
- Strikes reached from the Arctic Circle to Siberia
The operation was so devastating that Russian pro-war bloggers dubbed it “Russia’s Pearl Harbor,” with one prominent military channel lamenting: “These losses are irrecoverable. This is, without exaggeration, a serious blow to our strategic forces.”
THE SPIDER’S WEB UNRAVELS
In scenes straight from a spy thriller, Ukraine’s Security Service (SBU) revealed the extraordinary details of how they pulled off the attack:
- Drones smuggled into Russia over 18 months in secret operations
- Hidden in wooden cabins mounted on trucks
- Parked along highways near Russian military bases
- Roofs opened remotely to launch surprise attacks
- Coordinated strikes across three time zones
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, who personally supervised the operation, boasted that their “office” was located “directly next to FSB headquarters in one of their regions.
Video footage shows drones launching from truck beds as Russian personnel swear helplessly, with one serviceman filming planes burning behind him while unleashing a torrent of obscenities.
TRUMP WARNS OF ‘INEVITABLE’ RUSSIAN RESPONSE
President Donald Trump revealed he discussed the attacks during an hour-long phone call with Vladimir Putin on Wednesday, warning that the Russian leader told him “very strongly” that Moscow “will have to respond.
It was a good conversation, but not a conversation that will lead to immediate peace,” Trump wrote, adding that Putin was clearly rattled by the strikes.
Ambassador Kelin echoed this threat: “It is up to the Ministry of Defence to make a right solution, but we have to respond to it.”
BRITAIN’S DANGEROUS GAME?
The ambassador’s accusations put Britain in the crosshairs at a critical moment, with peace talks between Russia and Ukraine set to resume in Istanbul.
Kelin claimed that Britain is “now directly involved in this war” and that “this fighting cannot happen without NATO and British stuff.
When pressed about Russia receiving help from Iran, North Korea and China, the ambassador deflected, instead ranting about “mercenaries” and claiming to have seen “Polish units” in Ukraine’s Kursk region.
BOMBERS BURNING ‘EN MASSE’
The scale of destruction has shocked military analysts:
- Tu-95 bombers: Soviet-era nuclear bombers modified to launch cruise missiles – IRREPLACEABLE
- Tu-22M3 jets: Capable of carrying missiles traveling at Mach 4 – DESTROYED
- A-50 radar aircraft: Rare surveillance planes crucial for coordinating attacks – HIT
Satellite imagery confirmed the devastation at bases including:
- Belaya air base, Siberia (2,700 miles from Ukraine)
- Olenya air base, Arctic Circle
- Dyagilevo, Ryazan region
- Ivanovo air base
UK REMAINS SILENT
Notably, while President Trump has denied American involvement in the attacks, the UK government has NOT issued any denial of Ambassador Kelin’s accusations.
The silence from London is deafening as Russia threatens retaliation for what it calls a “terrorist attack” that has fundamentally altered the balance of the conflict.
‘RETRIBUTION IS INEVITABLE’
Top Russian security official Dmitry Medvedev issued a chilling warning: “Retribution is inevitable.
With Russia vowing revenge and directly accusing Britain of involvement, the conflict appears to be entering a dangerous new phase – one that could drag NATO allies deeper into direct confrontation with Moscow.
As one Western defense official admitted: “Ukraine’s attack showed a level of sophistication that we had not seen before.
The question now is: How will Russia respond to what it sees as British fingerprints all over Ukraine’s most devastating strike of the war?
And with Ambassador Kelin warning about “World War III,” has Britain’s alleged assistance to Ukraine crossed a red line that Moscow cannot ignore?
