Three Women Tortured and Killed on TikTok Livestream in Argentina Drug Gang Revenge Attack

Three women were brutally tortured and murdered in Argentina in what authorities are calling an act of “narco revenge,” with the horrific violence reportedly broadcast on TikTok livestream to dozens of viewers.

The victims have been identified as Lara Gutierrez, 15, Brenda del Castillo, 20, and Morena Verdi, 21. Their bodies were discovered five days after they went missing last Friday, buried in a garden, according to Buenos Aires security minister Javier Alonso.

Local media reported that two of the victims had been accused by the gang of stealing four kilos of cocaine, leading to what authorities described as a calculated revenge killing by an international drug trafficking organisation.

Victims Lured Into Trap

Minister Alonso revealed the women were last seen voluntarily entering a vehicle after being invited to an event, unaware they were being led into a deadly trap. “They had been invited to an event, not knowing they were falling into a trap set for them by an international drugs trafficking gang which had hatched a plan to kill them,” he stated.

The drug trafficking organisation responsible has its operational command in Buenos Aires, and authorities said they had specifically chosen the house where the murders took place to carry out the killings.

Police reported discovering evidence of extreme violence when the bodies were recovered. The youngest victim, 15-year-old Gutierrez, had suffered amputation injuries, whilst del Castillo sustained a skull fracture and abdominal wounds. Verdi was found with evidence of asphyxiation.

Gang Leader Fled Country

The gang leader who allegedly ordered the revenge killings has been identified as a Peruvian national who authorities believe has already fled Argentina. Four people have been arrested in connection with the murders, according to Alonso.

“The families of the victims have been informed,” the security minister said, confirming that the bodies were found buried in a garden at the location where the murders took place.

The regional government minister characterised the killings as an “act of narco revenge,” highlighting the brutal nature of drug-related violence in the region. The use of social media platform TikTok to broadcast the violence marks a disturbing escalation in how criminal organisations use technology to intimidate and spread fear.

Growing Concern Over Drug Violence

The case has shocked Argentina and raised serious concerns about the influence of international drug trafficking organisations operating in Buenos Aires. The fact that the violence was allegedly livestreamed adds a particularly disturbing dimension to an already horrific crime.

Authorities are continuing their investigation into the drug trafficking network responsible for the murders, whilst also examining how the livestream was able to occur on the social media platform without immediate intervention.

The murders represent one of the most brutal instances of drug-related violence in recent Argentine history, with the young age of one victim and the public nature of the violence via social media causing particular outrage.

Law enforcement officials have not released additional details about the ongoing investigation or whether more arrests are expected. The case has renewed calls for stronger action against drug trafficking organisations operating in Argentina and greater oversight of livestreaming capabilities on social media platforms.
