An Afghan migrant who posted videos advising men how to murder their wives whilst evading serious criminal charges has documented his illegal Channel crossing to nearly one million TikTok followers before being housed in a four-star hotel near Heathrow.

Parwiz Hanifyar, using the username Alexandra420, allegedly instructed his 70,000 followers to consume alcohol before attacking women to secure more lenient sentencing in a video filmed in Germany last month. The man in his 20s demonstrated with a domestic object whilst telling viewers they “must do this technique” to avoid murder charges.

“Before I kill her, I drink a bottle of alcohol,” Hanifyar allegedly stated in the disturbing footage. When the police comes, they say, he was drunk.” He reportedly advised followers that intoxication would lead to reduced sentences, claiming he had “never drunk alcohol” but was teaching the technique to help others evade justice.

Multiple individuals, including prominent TikTok personality Lemar, reported the alarming content to German authorities where Hanifyar had resided for three years. Despite these reports to Berlin police in mid-July, the Afghan national relocated to France before embarking on his Channel crossing from Calais on Saturday.

The migrant livestreamed his perilous journey across the English Channel to nearly one million viewers, documenting his arrival in Britain aboard an overcrowded dinghy. He was amongst more than 400 arrivals that day, pushing Channel crossings past 50,000 under Labour’s watch – a milestone reached seven months earlier than under the previous Conservative government.

Following processing by Border Force in Kent, Hanifyar was transported to the Crowne Plaza Hotel near Heathrow, where he continued broadcasting from his taxpayer-funded accommodation. During a livestream from his twin-bedded room with ensuite facilities, he taunted critics who had wished him harm during the crossing.

“This is dedicated to those haters who were happy thinking we either drowned or ended up dead,” he declared from the four-star hotel, which charged £120 per night before its conversion to asylum accommodation in 2021. Facilities at the hotel include a swimming pool, gym, steam room, sauna, two restaurants and a theatre.

From his complimentary room, Hanifyar proclaimed he was in “the best place” and actively encouraged viewers to undertake similar crossings. “Tell your four friends to come,” he urged followers, despite later revealing the life-threatening nature of his journey.

The Afghan national recounted how his vessel began taking on water midway through the crossing, claiming the inflatable dinghy would have sunk without Border Force intervention. “It was dangerous. Our boat sank. It was punctured. The water came from the inside of the boat,” he told viewers.

“On the other side, three people pumped the water. If the British boats hadn’t come in an hour, we would have been in trouble,” he admitted, acknowledging the near-catastrophic nature of the journey that could have resulted in multiple deaths.

Despite this brush with disaster, Hanifyar actively promoted paying traffickers for passage across the Channel. “I risked my life, I spent my money, I came. Your country is not your mother,” he declared defiantly. “Why are you so stingy? Being stingy is not good for God. You see, I risked my life! Why don’t you come?”

Shadow Home Secretary Chris Philp condemned the migrant’s content as “sickening” and demanded immediate arrest and deportation, asserting that Hanifyar presents a clear danger to Britain. “This individual has demonstrated contempt for our laws and women’s safety,” Philp stated.

The incident comes as Channel crossings reach record levels, with arrivals up 47 per cent compared to the same period last year. Home Office figures show 27,029 migrants have crossed so far in 2025, compared to 18,342 at this point in 2024.

Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer faces mounting criticism over his administration’s handling of the crisis. The government’s decision to scrap the Rwanda deterrent scheme has been blamed for the surge, with critics arguing it removed a crucial psychological barrier for potential crossings.

Reform UK Leader Nigel Farage commented: “As I predicted five years ago, unless we deport illegal migrants the invasion will be huge. 50,000 since our weak Prime Minister took office and there is no sign of it stopping.”

The government’s new “one-in, one-out” pilot scheme with France, which began last week, has been dismissed as ineffective by opposition politicians. Under the arrangement, Britain can return some Channel crossers to France in exchange for accepting asylum seekers with UK ties.

A Home Office spokesperson said new legislation is being introduced through the Border Security Bill to make it easier to prosecute individuals who promote small boat crossings online. Under these proposed laws, advertising irregular Channel crossings on social media could result in up to five years imprisonment.

TikTok confirmed it had removed Hanifyar’s account following reports of the illegal content, stating it was assisting the National Crime Agency “to identify and disrupt organised immigration crime online.” The platform said it had removed the “vast majority” of problematic content before the account suspension.

The Crowne Plaza near Heathrow has housed asylum seekers since 2021, with reports of overcrowding and safety concerns. The hotel has been referred to online as “Little Albania” due to its demographic composition, with allegations of violence and drug dealing within the premises.

As debate intensifies over Britain’s immigration policies, this latest incident highlights the complex challenges facing authorities in managing Channel crossings whilst ensuring public safety and maintaining border security.
