American leader posts ‘UNCONDITIONAL SURRENDER’ ultimatum as he rushes back from G7 summit to White House Situation Room amid fears of all-out Middle East war
President Donald Trump issued an extraordinary threat to Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei on Monday night, declaring on Truth Social that the U.S. knows his exact location and calling him an “easy target”.
The stunning pronouncement came just hours after Trump abruptly left the G7 summit in Canada, rushing back to Washington for emergency meetings in the White House Situation Room as Israel’s devastating bombing campaign against Iran entered its fifth day.
“We know exactly where the so-called ‘Supreme Leader’ is hiding. He is an easy target, but is safe there – We are not going to take him out (kill!), at least not for now,” Trump posted on his Truth Social platform late Monday. “But we don’t want missiles shot at civilians, or American soldiers.”
The president added an ominous warning: “Our patience is wearing thin. Thank you for your attention to this matter!”
In a series of rapid-fire posts that sent shockwaves through diplomatic circles, Trump also claimed the U.S. has “complete and total control of the skies over Iran” and posted a single, chilling message in all capitals: “UNCONDITIONAL SURRENDER!
The ultimatum echoes the demands placed on Nazi Germany and Japan during World War II, raising speculation about whether the U.S. might intervene directly to help Israel destroy Iran’s nuclear facilities.
DRAMATIC G7 EXIT
Trump’s dramatic warnings came after he stunned fellow world leaders by leaving the G7 summit in Kananaskis, Alberta, a full day early. Much was accomplished, but because of what’s going on in the Middle East, President Trump will be leaving tonight after dinner with Heads of State,” White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt announced.
Earlier that day, Trump had posted on Truth Social urging civilians to “immediately evacuate Tehran” – a warning that sent panic through Iran’s capital city of 10 million people.
The president appeared agitated as he prepared to leave Canada, telling reporters: “I have to be back, very important. You probably see what I see, and I have to be back as soon as I can.”
REJECTING CEASEFIRE CALLS
Flying back to Washington aboard Air Force One in the early hours of Tuesday morning, Trump made clear he’s not interested in a mere ceasefire between Israel and Iran.
I didn’t say I was looking for a ceasefire,” Trump told reporters on the presidential aircraft. Instead, he demanded “a real end” to Iran’s nuclear problem, with Tehran “giving up entirely” its enrichment activities.
The president also took a swipe at French President Emmanuel Macron, who had suggested Trump left the G7 to work on a ceasefire. Trump posted: “Wrong! He has no idea why I am now on my way to Washington, but it certainly has nothing to do with a Cease Fire. Much bigger than that.”
When asked about Israel’s relentless bombing campaign, Trump made a chilling prediction: “You’re going to find out over the next two days. You’re going to find out. Nobody’s slowed up so far.”
VETOED ASSASSINATION PLOT
The explosive threats come just days after it emerged that Trump had personally vetoed an Israeli plan to assassinate Khamenei during the opening strikes of their military campaign last Friday.
“Have the Iranians killed an American yet? No. Until they do we’re not even talking about going after the political leadership,” a senior U.S. administration official told Reuters, explaining Trump’s decision.
Multiple U.S. officials confirmed that Israel had the opportunity to assassinate Khamenei and President Trump conveyed to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu that it wasn’t a good idea.
Despite rejecting the assassination plan, Trump has now publicly revealed that the U.S. military knows Khamenei’s exact whereabouts – a stark warning to Tehran’s leadership.
WARNING TO IRAN
In another Truth Social post, Trump issued a fierce warning about any attacks on American forces in the region: “If we are attacked in any way, shape or form by Iran, the full strength and might of the U.S. Armed Forces will come down on you at levels never seen before.
The president told reporters that Iran knows not to target U.S. forces, saying America would “come down so hard if they do anything to our people.
ESCALATING CONFLICT
The war between Israel and Iran has already claimed at least two dozen lives in Israel and hundreds in Iran as it enters its fifth day.
Israel has maintained complete control of the skies over Tehran and expanded its targets beyond military and nuclear sites. On Monday, Israeli forces struck Iranian state TV headquarters while it was broadcasting live.
Iranian officials haven’t provided an update since Sunday, when they said at least 220 people had been killed. Many civilians are reportedly among the casualties.
Thousands of terrified Iranians have been racing to evacuate major cities, with traffic heavy in Tehran as people are trying to escape from all possible routes leaving Iran’s capital city after heavy bombardment from Israel.
NUCLEAR SHOWDOWN
At the heart of the conflict is Iran’s nuclear program. Trump dismissed recent U.S. intelligence assessments suggesting Iran wasn’t actively building nuclear weapons, telling reporters: “I don’t care what she said. I think they were very close to having them.”
The president has demanded that Iran completely abandon its uranium enrichment activities, with Israeli officials insisting Iran’s entire nuclear infrastructure needs to be dismantled before it’s able to build a bomb.
When asked if destroying Iran’s nuclear program would require U.S. involvement, Trump expressed hope it would be “wiped out long before that.
‘NOT IN THE MOOD TO NEGOTIATE’
Despite ongoing diplomatic efforts, Trump appeared to dash hopes for a negotiated settlement, telling reporters: “I’m not too much in the mood to negotiate.
A source with knowledge of the talks told CBS News on Monday that Tehran had indicated to negotiators in Qatar and Oman that it was prepared to discuss a new deal with the U.S. on its nuclear program, but not while it was still under Israeli attack.
The president’s stark warnings and military threats mark a dramatic escalation in rhetoric, raising fears that the devastating conflict between Israel and Iran could spiral into a wider regional war involving the United States.
As Trump huddled with his top military advisors in the Situation Room late Monday night, the world held its breath, waiting to see if his chilling threats would translate into action in the coming days.
