Shocking footage shows tourist clobbered in head as chair-hurling mayhem erupts at San Antonio hotel while ‘Good Vibes Only’ sign looks on

This is the jaw-dropping moment a female tourist was knocked to the ground by a flying chair during an explosive poolside brawl at an Ibiza hotel.

The shocking violence erupted between raging holidaymakers at the Marco Polo hotel in San Antonio, with dramatic footage capturing the moment paradise turned into pandemonium.

In scenes that will horrify decent holidaymakers, the woman can be seen dropping to the floor after being struck in the head — and appears to remain injured on the ground for the rest of the shocking clip, only moving briefly when staff try to help her up.

Chair-wielding maniac strikes

The mayhem escalated when one of the tourists caught in the crossfire stepped back before tumbling into the pool.

Suddenly, his mate was also whacked by a soaring white poolside chair and sent flying backwards into the water.

But the violence didn’t stop there — in stomach-churning scenes, the same chair-hurling thug who’d already sent two men into the pool grabbed another lounger and proceeded to slam it down onto his victim’s bald head as he treaded water.

Security left helpless

A group of lifeguards and security desperately tried to intervene in the carnage, but their efforts were completely ignored as the chair-wielding maniac continued his rampage.

The two injured holidaymakers remained trapped in the pool, surrounded by their jeering foes who continued to shout abuse and taunt them as they struggled in the water.

‘Good vibes only’ — yeah right!

Eagle-eyed viewers couldn’t help but spot the irony of the violence unfolding right next to a poolside sign reading “Good Vibes Only.”

One social media user quipped: “Good vibes only sign does it for me.”

The account that posted the viral video cheekily captioned the mayhem: “The chaos was temporary. The memories? Permanent.”

‘Typical British behaviour’

Online viewers were quick to point the finger at British tourists, with heavy speculation that the brawling men were Brits abroad.

One user commented: “Can smell the Stella, Joop and British passports from here.”

Another said simply: “Typical British behaviour.”

But while some found the chaos hilarious, others were disgusted by the violence.

One account said: “Doesn’t look like good fun happening there. Looks too intimidating and aggressive. No thanks.”

While another added: “Embarrassingly British.”

Pattern of shame

The shocking incident is just the latest in a string of embarrassing brawls involving British tourists in Ibiza.

In 2022, two people ended up in the sea when a mass brawl erupted after Brits were reportedly banned from a party boat, with fighters using rubbish bins as weapons in San Antonio.

The chair-throwing fight also comes after an EasyJet passenger on a flight to Ibiza was left petrified when a group of rowdy “drunk” Brits turned her journey into a “nightclub.

Furious Spaniard Erika Barrachina claimed she suffered a “panic attack” after having to cope with “scum” passengers on the party flight.

Hotel stays silent

It remains unclear if the men involved were definitely British nationals, and the Marco Polo hotel has not commented on the violent brawl which left one woman lying injured on the floor.

The incident serves as yet another black mark against British tourists abroad, reinforcing the shameful stereotype of Brits behaving badly in the Spanish party paradise.

As one disgusted viewer put it: “This is why we can’t have nice things.”
